Question
is "career colleges of america" a good school to attend? i want to become a ultrasound technician and it's the only one close to my home but i have no clue if this school i a good one, one that i can actually get into a hospital and start my career

Answer
Ultrasound technology is a growing field.  Check with your local Jr. collage and see if they have a program.  Many technical schools also offer ultrasound technology as a program of study.  You should check with your state Health Department to see if ultrasound technology is a licensed field in your state.  Then make sure that the program you are interested in is certified for offering ultrasound as as degree or certificate program.   This varies from state to state and school to school.  i would steer towards school that offer a degree program in ultrasound technology (usually an associates or bachelors degree).
Hope this helps...
