Question
Dr. Kanz,
I have developed an interest in a career as a massage therapist. I am looking into training programs in my area. I really don't want to train at any level below community college, but the only massage therapy programs I can find in my area (Tampa Bay area, Florida) are at career and tech centers (i.e. University of Phoenix, Everest University, etc.). Would you recommend such a school for this type of training? Or should I relocate to a more favorable area?

Answer
Sure... The key component is that are fully accredited, and can provide you the training necessary to pass the board exams for licensing for your state.  You can probably contact the agency that regulates massage therapy in Florida for a complete list of recognized programs...
I hope this helps...
