Question
i am interested in becoming a radiology tech. what schooling do i need for this job?

Answer
Radiology tech courses are very likely available at your local community college.  Rad techs are in very high demand at hospitals, clinics and advanced imaging centers.  This career choice generally requires an Associates Degree and then licensure by your state's Health Department.  The program will usually require two years of post-high school training with heavy emphasis on physical sciences such as physics and biology.  As much radiological technology is now digitized, computer science is also very helpfull.  Most MRI, CT and other advanced imaging  technology now requires a very high degree of computer literacy.  Try contacting your local community college and request a catalogue on Medical Technology programs.  This should answer most of your specific questions concerning this or similar career choices.
