i would love to know what aspect of medicine deals with weight loss and fitness and nutrition and which University would be best to study and does this particular field of medicine have a particular name

Dear Keshi,
I'm a doctor of chiropractic, but I'm also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine as well as a member the ACA Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness.  Chiropractors are among very few health professionals who have core training in fitness, nutrition and functional restoration.  There are also some medical subspecialties who focus directly on physical fitness and nutrition, but this is generally not part of the curriculum in American Medical Schools.  Here are a few links to help you look further into what chiropractic offers in the way of Wellness, Fitness and Nutrition issues.  I'll also follow up with a few links concerning 'weight loss medicine' - Hope this helps...
