Question
Hi my name is Cole and i am a huge weather person and i have always wanted to be a meteorologist. I love to watch storms and i love to watch tornadoes and i was wondering if you knew if there is a way I can have a paying job in stormchasing. I was also wondering if I need to study a lot of math or advanced math to do that.

Answer
Hi Cole

Storm chasing is very popular so most people either do it for free or pay to go on storm chasing tours. Meteorologists who either work for NOAA or for a university do get paid to study and "chase" storms.

To become a meteorologist you do need to be proficient in math.
