I was in the military for 2 1/2 years. I served in Iraq for fivew months and was redcrossed 8 times to come home becasue my wife was really close to dieing. My seargent wouldn't allow it. When i finally got home i had a nervous breakdown, and got chaptered out of the military. My seperation authority od AR 635-200 PARA 5-17, my speration code is JFV, and my reentry is 3. What are my chances that i can go back into the military?

Answer
Slim to none to be truth full. I believe that what I would do is move on,,,, mabe find something related like working to the Department of Homeland Security. There are several ways that you can serve your country and not be military.

The damage has allready been done as far as your military career, you got dealt some really crappy cards in that department and you want to go back????

I would do other things to serve my country and stay close to your family...

I am very blunt and straight forward and will make no attempts to BS you. I will give you the best information that I possible can can. If you think that you cant handle the answer that I give you, then don't ask the question...... If you are planning on joining the military, your number 1 decision factor in making this kind of move is that you need to be more concerned about serving your country than your country serving you!! All the benefits are the best that you can find. Education is at a premium right now and its the most rewarding thing that you can do. If I dont answer right away probably means that I am busy, but have patience, I will get to you.
