So if i was told i don't qualify for ranger training after basic or something because of my fbi background check then what? do they then just let me contiune with 11b option4"airborne" without the ranger portion or change everything altogether? or do they conduct this check before i go to basic? My father got screwed over in a similar matter back 40 years ago he scored high enough on the ASVAB to be a helicopter mechanic and the army recruiter told him to leave it blank and when a spot opens we will put you in since it was full at the time, but he didn't know by leaving it blank they can stick him wherever they want to put him.
They can still give you 11b with airborne. If you are clean, then you have nothing to worry about if you were honest about your back ground. I cannot think of anything specific that would dq you from rangers and not other things.

I am a National Guard recruiter , been doing it for seven years and am a subject matter expert on qualifications for National Guard and I keep up to date on Regular Army regs and programs. I was in the Navy for 4 years and have 13 years in the Guard. I will not sugar coat my answers to you. They are usually short and to the point. If you need more in depth, ask me. Because each situation is different, alot of times you need to actually talk to a recruiter and let them evaluate your situation in person, by looking at your documents, issues etc. If I suggest this, it would be in your best interest to do so. Finally...thank you for your interest in serving this great nation of ours. Very few people can actually make the cut to serve let alone choose to do so.
