Careers: Military--Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard/wait period to re-enlist

Question
Ma'am, do you know what the wait period would be to enlist again in the Army? I ETSed honorably after 8 years active duty and was wondering if I would have to wait if I decided to enlist again.

Answer
Dear Melanie --

If you got an honorable discharge, and are not prohibited from re-enlisting due to medical conditions, you can re-enlist immediately.  If you re-enlist within 3 years, you will not have to redo basic warrior training.

Good luck to you.  Thank you for your service.
