Question
I plan to marry a soldier already stationed at Ft. Hood and I am in North Dakota, I was wondering if the army will pay for my relocation to Ft. Hood from ND.

Answer
Dear Josette -

No the Army will not pay your expenses for relocating to Fort Hood.  You and your husband will be responsible for those expenses, if you choose to move to Fort Hood to join him.

However, if his next assignment is an accompanied assignment, and you are married when he receives his orders to move, the Army will move you as a family.

Good luck to you.
