Under normal circumstances, under an NJP, will I lose my security clearance?

Under NORMAL circumstances, a security clearance will not be removed due to non-judicial punishment. However, depending upon the severity of the offense, it is an option the commander may consider.
NJP is obviously used in lieu of judicial punishment, as this is a tool the commander uses to correct unacceptable behavior. Removing a security clearance would hamper your ability to perform your official duties, which would make you a less productive member of his unit. The goal is to correct behavior and KEEP you productive, so removing your clearance would be counterproductive.
