Question
I joined the Army went I was 28 years old. I read in the Army Times a couple of years ago that the age limit for OCS was 42 years old. I was wondering if this is correct?. I am 40 now with almost 12 yrs in the active army. Do I still have a chance to apply for it?
Thank You

Answer
Dear Victor --

Yes, if you meet all the other qualifications for OCS, you may apply to attend even though you are now 40.

The military has increased the maximum age allowed for ROTC, the military academies and OCS to allow otherwise qualified individuals attend, in order to increase the pool of candidates.

Good luck to you.  Please write back, if you have other questions or concerns.  Thank you for your service.
