Hello Howard,
I'm Nick im 16 and i have some friends and i who are interested in joining the coarst guard they said that you can get placed almost anywhere and you can be with buddys who go through bootcamp and stations and stuff?
Is the buddy system with two people or can it be with three?

I am not sure, I know that you can get in and go with one...but 2? Its a good question that I would hit my CG recruiter up with..

I dont see why it wouldnt be that dificult, but this is the military we are talkin about....

Now the one major influance is this....if you are all in different jobs....plan on getting separated after BMT. The Military will place you where you want first, but if there is not an opening , then they find you a home.

I have spent the past 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, 3 years was assigned as an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter. I have been deployed various times to several locations. If it is a career in the military you are looking for or thinking about I most likely have the answer. If you are planning on joining the military, your number 1 decision factor in making this kind of move is that you need to be more concerned about serving your country than your country serving you!! All the benefits are the best that you can find. Education is at a premium right now and its the most rewarding thing that you can do. If I dont answer right away probably means that I am busy, but have patience, I will get to you.
