Question
I am PCS'ing to Coast Guard Aviation Maintenance Technician School in the fall. It is a five month long school and I was wondering if my dependent are able to come or do they have to say at my current unit until I finish with school.

I believe that the time you a slotted for trainin, is just under whats requirede. But then you are Coast Guard, they might allow for less time. You need to talk to the school you are going to attend to get the information. My advise to you is go and get your training, have her stayu at home and get prepared to leave in 5 months....

If you are planning on joining the military, your number 1 decision factor in making this kind of move is that you need to be more concerned about serving your country than your country serving you!! All the benefits are the best that you can find. Education is at a premium right now and its the most rewarding thing that you can do. If I dont answer right away probably means that I am busy, but have patience, I will get to you.
