Hello,
I am currently in the Marine Corps and my husband is as well. He is stationed in North Carolina and I am stationed in California. I want to get orders there but I dont have the obligated time on my contract. Is extending to meet the obligated service time an option for me or is that only for people who are deploying?? Where can I find information about this as well. My career planner is really not helping me. ANY HELP PLEASE?!?!?!

As far as I know, you should be able to extend your contract to get over to the East Coast. However, these policies may have changed. If that doesn't work, you might look into a re-enlistment of 2-3 years option.
If the Career Planner isn't helping, check with your 1stSgt or SgtMaj, if they don't know the answer, they'll be able to find out for you.
