Question
I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm pretty sure i want to go into the military after high school. I've wanted to since i was like 5. But i was injured recently really badly. I broke my shin in two places, dislocated my ankle and tore all the ligaments in the back of my foot. I have a plate in my leg now with a whole bunch of pins and screws and i was wondering if it would be possible to join the army and maybe go into SF?

Once you injuries heal...your rehab is important....make sure that you can perform as normal... the other thing that will hinder you will be the presence of metal in your body... Will the pins & screws be permanent or temporary....Permanent metal is not a disqalifier at the present time, but temp stuff is ...kinda.
Most cases are referred to the Surgeon General for final decision...

All the benefits are the best that you can find. Education is at a premium right now and its the most rewarding thing that you can do.
