Hello Sir,
I am currently in the ANG with a DOS of Sept/08. I have over 60 college credits and recently started to double my class load for early graduation. I would really like a public affairs officer vposition in the AF or NAVY? I have called recruiters and they say I need to meet with a board after taking the officer's test and submitting a packet...true/false/advise??? Thanks!
Yes this is ture...You have to take the AFOQT. Then based on the scores you have, if you qualify, you meet with the board. If the board selects you , then you will be forded a Commission. You could also go enlisted and seek a commission once you are on the inside. The required AFOQT scores are lower and the requirements are less by going enlisted first.. Just a thought.

If you are planning on joining the military, your number 1 decision factor in making this kind of move is that you need to be more concerned about serving your country than your country serving you!! All the benefits are the best that you can find. Education is at a premium right now and its the most rewarding thing that you can do. If I dont answer right away probably means that I am busy, but have patience, I will get to you.
