Question
hi i was wondering if you could tell me when you are supposed to get your sign on bonus.

Answer
Dear Natasha --

Your bonus will be paid in parts based on the scheduled outlined in your enlistment contract.  Usually the first payment is no earlier than the first paycheck after you graduate from advanced individual training (AIT), but can be as late as after your first year of duty.

After that, additional payments will be on the anniversary of your first payment.

If you do not complete your service obligation, then you will have to repay your enlistment bonus.

Thank you for your service.
