Question
Does the military check your medical recors or do they just base your stuff on the medical exam at meps and the questionare

Answer
Dear Leo --

The military will spot check records and ensure the data corresponds to the recruit's claims.

The best course of action is to admit to any illness or injury and provide proof that the condition is not an issue for performance of military duties.  Then you would apply for a medical waiver to enter the service.

If you enlist following these rules, you are covered, if military service causes a recurrence of your illness or injury.  If not, the government can hold you liable for the cost of your training and treatment, because non-disclosure of pre-existing conditions means you enlisted fraudulently.

Good luck to you.
