Question
Sir, My son Zach age 20 just went through the MEPS Ohio physical and passed it all. At the end the USCG liasion noticed he had a benign cist maked down, which was a benign acranoid cist that he had removed when he was 11 yrs. old Zach has since competed in wrestling 9 yrs. and has no other problems. The USCG said that they didn't do waivers for medical. I checked with other branches and they stated they did and couldn't understand why the USCG stated they could not. Zach had his heart set on the USCG to follow in his big brother's steps. It is not fair that someone makes the call without documenation. The Columbus recruiter didn't advise Zach to take any kind of medical records, can this situation be reversed in anyway? They are losing a very good canidate and I feel that Zach got a raw deal.

I am not saying that he will be forded the opprotunity to re exam, but its always a possibility that they may
