Question
Hi, My sons father just signed for 5years of Navy mechanic e2 in Baltimore I believe. A week before he left we went for child support. At the time he didnt tell anyone he was going to the navy and said he had no income. So they said he wouldnt have to start til July and itd be the lowest amount because he had "no" income. I was wondering how I go about getting this changed. He signed on for a dependent but doesnt want to help at all. And he should be getting his bonus soon. It took two to make the baby so two should be taking care of him. Also if you knew about how much it should be each month. Any help is appriciated.

Answer
What you need to do is get an attourney and go to court. As an E-2 under 2 years, he is getting 1509.00 base pay per month....

you can access the chart at

Ove you file this with the court then they should set up a schedule and a set amount that they will deduct
