Question
A package was sent to my sisters home one morning that she opened because she thought it was a birthday gift someone was sending her. When she realized it was marijuana she panicked and threw it in her closet in her bedroom because she saw a crowd of police on her door step. She has only been to court to get her case dropped to a misdemeanor and as of now she is on papers. She wants to join the air force but she doesnt know if she can. Can she join the air force?

Answer
Dear Tiara --

That whole story sounds suspicious to me.  However, if that is her only offense, your sister might be able to enlist in the Air Force with a waiver.

The Air Force is the service least likely to accept a recruit with a waiver.  The Army is the service most likely to accept a recruit with a waiver.

Good luck to your sister, and to you.
