Question
How would someone in Iraq right now use a DSN line to contact people in the U.S? I would like to let him know how to do it. Thanks!

Answer
Dear Kiley --

They would need to call a stateside DSN number (designated as a morale support line) in the area local to the number they wish to call.  The Soldier or Officer that receives the call on-post, would then transfer it to an outside line.

You can call the nearest military base to you to find out what the morale support DSN number is.

Good luck to you.
