Question
QUESTION: My daughter's boyfriend left for Navy bootcamp April 16th. It is now May 5th. He called her and said he is coming home. He said they found something in his medical records (depression or something from years ago). He says he is coming home at the end of the month at his own expense. Do you think he is lying? Why if he is already at bootcamp would they come across this? I'm wondering if it's another reason. Also, how can he get back in?

ANSWER: I think that hes blowing smoke, if he had any depression issues and obviously didnt say anything about it, then he told them that to get out...... Hes more than likely being sent home on an erronious enlistment and yes he would be going at his own expense if that is the case.

QUESTION: I suspected this. Thanks for the reply. He also said that 90 other people are coming home? Do you think this is another lie? Seems like an awful lot of people to be true.

Answer
Well, that could be true... As all services do, they will process out the dead weeds and them they all go out on trash day.... I know sounds bad, but I was refering to is that they all leave the base on a specific day or a release day. Some bases have it once a week, others have it once ever two to three weeks as they can arrange for transportation. He may be paying for it out of his last check or what ever, but the govt still makes the arrangements.
