Question
i want to become an x-ray tech but i would like to have the experience the airforce gives you does the force provide complete training to be a certified x-ray tech
i looked at the enlisted jobs but was unsure if airforce provided the training

Answer
Yes.  Thats if you can get the job. The  position that you seek is not easy to get. The airforce divies out jobs in different ways. 40% at the recruiting level and 60 to the Basic Training level. So if you can not get this specific job, take the general catergory and your chances of getting it in BMT are greater. Sounds corny, but this is actualoly how the air force does things. You have to understand, the Asvab score to get this job is very minimal.... a score of 44 in the general area will get you this job... Most on average will score hi 80s to 90s in this area.... so in all actualality, if you score or scored high on the asvab, you may have to lower your standards to get the job....

If you think that you cant handle the answer that I give you, then don't ask the question...... If you are planning on joining the military, your number 1 decision factor in making this kind of move is that you need to be more concerned about serving your country than your country serving you!! All the benefits are the best that you can find. Education is at a premium right now and its the most rewarding thing that you can do. If I dont answer right away probably means that I am busy, but have patience, I will get to you.
