Question
What is the oldest you can be to join the army or the navy?

Answer
Dear John --

The normal "oldest" age to join the military is 35.  Right now the Army is accepting recruits with age waivers up to the age of 42.  To enlist at that age you must meet all the mental, physical, security and moral standards of the military.
