I am considering joining the air force.  I want to know which jobs or job catagories are least likely to be deployed.  I understand most if not all will have you deployed some length of time.

In today's post-9/11 world, everyone in all branches deploys.  If you are basing your career choice on deployment rates instead of the career itself, I would question your reasons.  The military may not be the right choice for you.

I am a retired MSgt (2004) with 24 years experience in the aircrew career field, both as a loadmaster (AFSC 1A2x1) and flight engineer (AFSC 1A1x1).
