Question
I have a re-4 code from 6 years ago when I was 19 from the USMC for homosexual admission.  I was young, and stupid.. and made a few bad choices.

Basically, is there any way I could get into the Army now at the age of 25 with the RE-4 still lingering my past?

If you are practicing homosexual sex, no you will not be able to get into the Army.

If you are not practicing homosexual sex, and you do not plan to while you are in the service, you can put an appeals package together, and request that the military board of corrections change the re-enlistment code on your discharge.

You will need a fairly powerful package to overcome a personal homosexuality claim.  However, with the right substantiation, the board can change your code.  If they give you an RE 1 or RE 2 you should be able to enlist in the Army.

I wish you the best of luck.
