Question
Im 17 and im just now going into the 11th grade..my blood pressure is normal around the house and when i check it at walmart and when my family members check it but when someone that i dont know checks it i get nervous and it goes up. Can I still get in the Service with white coat syndrome? my DR. told me thats what i have.

Answer
Dear Chris -

It could be possible to get this syndrome waived, if you truly do not have high blood pressure and it only rises when you see a medical doctor.  You will need some verifiable way to prove that's why your blood pressure is high.

Good luck to you.
