Question
After I had my son, I had pre eclampsia, and I was later diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, it had sense reversed and I am fine, does this matter?

Answer
Dear Mandy -

The natal pre-eclampsia, once resolved, would not be an issue, but your cardiomyopathy probably will be.  Damage to your heart cannot be reversed.  Therefore you have a weakened heart, and the stress of military training and service would be a hazard to your health, and the safety of those depending on you.

However, only a military medical doctor can review your records and determine if you have permanent damage from your condition, and whether you should receive a medical waiver to enlist.

Good luck to you.
