Question
I was considering re-enlistment into the US military. What is the maximum allowable age to join the US Marine Corps. with prior military service?

Answer
Dear Craig --

Right now you can be 42 and enlist with an age waiver.  If you have prior service, you can be 42 plus the number of years of active duty prior service.

So if you had six years prior service, and it was all active, you could re-enlist up to the age of 48, with a waiver, as long as you meet all other conditions of enlistment.

Good luck to you.
