Question
see i lied to my recruiter about being to jail and signed all the paperwork and then was put under pressure the night before meps and called and told them. they told me the paper work was scanned in the system and to tell the truth to meps umm well now i am afraid that it will be fraud and i wont be able to get in :( plz help.

Answer
Dear Jessica -

The advice you received is correct.  When you are at MEPS update any incorrect information in your file.  You will initial your corrections and it will become a permanent part of your application for entrance into the service.

Once you put the true information on your file, you will be disqualified.  Do not worry about that.  You will appeal your disqualification with a request for a morality waiver.  So see your recruiter again as soon as you can after you get home from MEPS, to put your appeal together.  Your recruiter will advise you on how to put your appeal together.

Good luck to you.
