Question
I am a college student at the Florida Keys Community College.I am doing paper on the Airforce about nursing an would like to ask about much do they pay. That is one of the quesitions is. Thank You Carrie

Answer
Dear Carrie Davis --

The Military Services pay their officers based on their rank.  So Air Force nurses receive pay commensurate with their rank and any bonuses they may have earned due to specialty medical training.

Their pay is also based upon longevity in the service, that is number of years they have served in the military.

You can see the pay chart at the following web site: http://www.dfas.mil/militarypay/militarypaytables/2009MilitaryPayTables.pdf

Nurses are commissioned officers and will be in the O-1 through O-6 ranks (second lieutenant through colonel).

Please write back, if you have additional questions.  Good luck with your paper.
