Question
I noticed on several military sites that a $2,000 bonus is given for DEP recruits with 12 college credits. My son has 12 credits due to passing AP tests. Would this qualify? Thanks!
Hi Tracy,
The Army is the only branch that currently gives enlistment bonuses for college credits. To qualify, the credits must have been issued by an accredited university or college, so unless your son enrolls in a university or college, then has them "officially accept" the credits towards a degree program, they probably wouldn't qualify.
