Question
I am currently in the Army, I have done one deployment to Afghanistan. I want to switch to the marines, is this possible? And if I get chaptered from the Army can I join the Marines?

Answer
Lateral Service moves happen often, in fact my cousin did one not long ago. Once your time is up in the army it should be fairly easy to lat move. However, 'chaptered' sounds like a negative situation, if that is the case, then your chances of a lat move to the marines will be far less likely to happen.
