Careers: Military--Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard/Injured while in DEP

Question
My daughter is in the DEP program with the Navy and has been for 3 months now.  Her ship date is not until July (so about 8 months away).  She broke a little bone on the top of her foot, it will not require surgery, and the Dr. says it will heal up just fine in about 6 weeks and she will be no worse for the wear.  Is this going to interfere with her Navy plans at all?  Will it cause them to drop her from the DEP program?  If not, will there be requirements she will have to fulfill to prove that she is still completely capable of doing her job?  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Jill,

She needs to inform her recruiter about this, but it should be fine, as long as there are no complications.
