Question
I am writing to ask how I can earn a Direct Commission in US Navy?  

I am a 42 year male with no prior federal service.  No criminal history or medical issues.  I have a B.S. in Social Science and Masters Degree in Business Administration.  I have served in my state's State Defense Force for eight years and have taken several FEMA courses in Incident Command.  I currently hold the rank of WO1.   

I have been working in time critical transportation for 17 years and I am currently a regional manager for national courier company.

I would like to use my skills and education to serve in the Navy reserve.  How can I accomplish this?

Those are some very impressive credentials you have.  However you are above the age limit for the Navy Reserve.  Their limit is 39.  At 42 your only military options are the active-duty Army and the Army Reserves.  Both have an age limit of 42.
