Question
I wanted to no if it were possible to RE back into the army with a code of 3(Misconduct). If it is possible then whats the best way to go about doing that. The only reason I got the discharge was because I was going through hard times in my personal life and it started effecting my career. I started to not care for  the Army ,but now I realize the mistakes I made and I wonna make a change.I finished my first term before I got kicked out in DEC 2006.

Answer
Jawaun,
The Army regulations say, "Individuals with an RE Code of "3" can normally reenlist in the Army or another Service, but will require a waiver to be processed.  See your Army recruiter right away before too much time lapses.  You may be able to get back in with some of your old rank and also avoid basic training again.

You'll be treated as a "Reenlistee" and not a new Enlistee, and recruiters normally have a very small quota for reenlistments.  Also, a recruiter gets $0 for reenlistments, so don't be surprised if he doesn't seem too helpful.

Thanks for wanting to continue serving.
Colonel H
