Question My son is 22, and was recently told by a Marine Recruiter that the Marines don't have any spots for someone his age. They are enlisting high school seniors only, and that he could only go into the reserves. Is this true?
Answer Quite likely. Recruiting is at it's highest levels in many, many years, and the quota emphasis right now appears to be going toward the High school senior market for some reason. Those quota's aren't set by individual recruiters or the stations, that's coming from higher headquarters.
