hello, I'm thinking about joining the army, and was wondering if a ticket for MJ paraphernalia would disqualify me or require a waiver?  If so what are the chances of it being accepted?

Aaron,
Usually the Army will waive this "minor" misdemeanor as long as that's your only problem.  Your local recruiter will process the paperwork necessary for you to apply for a waiver.  Check with your recruiter and explain your situation and make sure the Army is still giving waivers.
