Question
I just joined the Navy in November 2008.
I've only been in the Sea Bee community for a short period of time, 6 months at least.
I'm having troubles with a certain First Class.
It's to the point where I'm afraid to go to work,
even be in the same room as him.
He has and does harass me, and has made subtle and some indirect verbal threats to me.
He humiliates me when he can.
Around everyone else...he's not like that.

anyway.
I'm having a hard time adapting to this style of life, because he stresses me out so much,
That I've actually developed anxiety attacks, I don't sleep anymore.
they've (Being the command) think I may be going crazy,
If I'm not already...
What do I do?
What can I do?
I hate being there because of him.
I can't stand it.
Any information will help.
thanks for taking the time to read and answer this.

Answer
Nikole,
Unfortunately there are jerks like that everywhere.  What you need to do is talk to your command Master Chief.  (If you're at a small command they may only have a Command Senior Chief or Command Chief).  Anyway, it's his responsibility to protect his troops and to straighten out this First Class.  That's his job.  You're experiencing sexual harassment, (whether or not its sexual in nature, its coming from the opposite sex).  This type of harassment is not tolerated in the military and the Command Chief should fix the problem.  Also you must inform your supervisor, just to ensure you're playing by the rules and following the "Chain of Command."

Believe me, they'll do something about him.  They likely can't afford to lose a productive worker (you) and they certainly don't need him around.

After you do the above, please let me know if things are better for you.
