hi, i am currently trying to get in the army but i am 17 and i have a ged. will i be able to join? if not please tell me the requirements to join so i can get in.
Hi Tim,
One can join at the age of 17 with parental consent, but none of the military branches are accepting candidates with GEDs at this time.
However, if you get at least 15 college credits, you would be in the same educational enlistment category as those with a high school diploma.
