Question
Col Bedell-

Thank you so much for your prompt answer. That's exactly what I thought. He only had that one episode and actually referred himself to talk with someone. I looked on his ERB and he has a 10 on his eligibility, which is full reenlistment without a bar on it. We feel much better about this situation as my husband is a great soldier and wants to continue serving. Thank you again. What is reflected on the ERB is accurate, correct? Thank you.

Answer
Dear Melissa --

His ERB should be accurate, especially, if he is coming up for re-enlistment, or the end of his service obligation.  With the electronic records, updates happen fairly quickly, so there should be no surprises on his ERB.

If your husband want to be sure to get an AGR position, he should be talking to his re-enlistment NCO or officer now, and stating that he wants to re-enlist for that particular duty.

Good luck to you and your family.  Happy holidays!
