hello my name is Roosevelt spiller and I've been trying to get into the navy for over a year but I've been having problems getting in due to my juvenile past i have a felony but i was not convicted as an adult because it was not violent but it was dealing with possesion of drugs and i have three cases but there all closed and I'm a adult now 18 to be specific and I'm not on probation or parole I'm clean now and i have change my life sorry I'm writing so much i just want you to get a full understanding of my case and question in 2008 i filled out my waivers and i was rejected but I'm not giving up thanks to me wanting to go to the navy is the main reason why i changed my life and its were my heart is so um in a month from now i have the privilege to seal my record so if i do that how would i have to talk to get a letter of recommendation from a top naval personnel?

hooyah Roosevelt; It always does my heart good to hear of young men changing their lives. Although I am no expert on criminal background clearances, I would think that if you have your juvenile records sealed, they should be just that-sealed. If the Navy rejects you, try another branch of service. Service to your country is a very honorable profession, no matter what branch or capacity you serve in. No matter what, hold tight to your new way of life. Drugs and drug dealing destroys too many young people.
