I am 27yrs old and is thinking of enlisting into the navy, it has been a passion
of mine since I was a teenager. Am I to old to enlist and if not what would I
be elgible for.

You're in luck..The age limit for a Navy officer is 34.
Now your next step is to decide what career field (job) you'd like to have in the Navy.  Go to http://www.navy.com/careers/officerplanner/
There under careers you'll find the "Officer Planner" that will walk you through the steps necessary to become a Navy officer.  Also on this same web site (at the bottom) you'll find "Chat 1-on-1 which is a highly personalized forum that gives you the chance to ask an active-duty Navy expert questions about career opportunities, Navy life and anything Navy-related.   Then go talk to your Navy recruiter.  He can get you in and tell you how long of a wait you may have to get in.

Having spent 30 years in the Air Force and knowing what I know now, I'd say the Navy is my second pick of the services.
