Question
Hello i am a high school sophomore that dreams constantly of getting a Ph.d
in Psychology  and then joining the navy to become a navy seal ( and would
love to be a sniper). I have loved the Seal's all my life and would love nothing
more then to become one. and after serving in the seals for around 10 years i
hope to join the National Clandestine service  as a paramilitary operations
officer in the CIA however in total unfortunate luck i have a 26 degree lumbar
curve Scoliosis which i currently where a back brace for however my doctor
tells me it wont make it better just keep it from getting worse. My question to
you is this: my curve is but 6 degrees higher then the amount (20 degrees)
that would allow me to join the navy without a waiver  i was wondering will it
be easy for me to get a waiver if we added my Education on top of the fact
that im in very good shape and that i only miss the cut off by 6 degrees. Also
what activities or things should i have on my resume that would increase my
chances of getting that waiver.

Answer
Hello AliC:
I really cant answer your question. You would be better off asking a recruiter this question. As for SEAL team, I am pretty sure the answer will be no. The standards are pretty tough and most of the time getting a waiver for your problem would be next to impossible, But do ask a recruiter anyway.
I wish you the best of luck
