Questionmy name is joshua . my dream is getting into the army but am having problems with getting in . the recruiters dont seem to care and i'm having problems with the asvab . if you can help me out i would sure appreciate it . thank you
AnswerDear Joshua --
Go to your local bookstore and buy the ASVAB practice test book. You will find them in the "self-help" or "self-improvement" section. Work through the problems. Identify the problems with which you have difficulty, and either study those until you understand how to solve them, or hire a tutor to work with you on that type of problem.
The only way to improve on the ASVAB is to learn how you best take the test, and which problems you do well on, and need practice on. The recruiters cannot waive ASVAB scores, and their job is not to teach potential recruits how to take the test. It is your responsibility to meet all the requirements of service.
Sometimes a class in test taking strategies helps too. Good luck to you. I hope you achieve your dream.
