I have a question in regards to my husband. I would like to know if there is any way that he can get into the ARMY. The only thing is that he has two felony convictions, and a couple misdemeanors, for attempted theft, theft, and two counts of forgery they all happened in 2003. Will that affect his applying to be in the ARMY? He's completely changed now, and he really wants to join so he can help our family. He needs to better himself by getting into something that is going to help his career out. The job field industry that he is in is going down hill and I'm the only one working, and it's not that great. Thank you for your time.

  He might.  The convictions will require a waiver which may or may not be granted.  Letters from his parole/probation officer or other citizens of the community may help with this.  Talk to a recruiter who can give you all the information you need.

Intelligence Specialist: MOS 0231 10 years working as an Intelligence Analyst with a Fixed Wing Fighter Squadron, Force Service Support Group, and at Headquarters, Marine Corps. Field Radio Operator: MOS 2531. Served as a Platoon Sergeant in a Communications Platoon assigned to MEU Service Support Group 24 (Special Operations Capable). Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years. I"ve been collecting and selling Marine Corps and other military uniforms, medals, and field gear since I was 8 years old.
