Question
I have a friend who applied for the CSPI program, went through the interview and completed the medical examination. We are currently waiting on a reply. The board let in April 13th and we were wondering if you had an approximation of the time we would be notified of the results? Do they only send out acceptance letters or do you get notified either way? I hope you can answer this! Thanks!

The board that met 13 April was CGRC Panel 05-09 (CSPI/PRE-COMMISSIONING PROGRAM FOR ENLISTED PERSONNEL)
Typically, results are released in 6-8 weeks. If the panel had no disagreements and everything went smoothly, the results may come sooner. Usually there's at least one applicant that not all the panel members rank equally and requires a "second look." Then the results have to be approved by several authorities. So it's not a quick process.
Please be patient, he will receive notice either way, that's mandatory. If you haven't heard anything by June 1st, you can call 1-877-669-8724 and ask for an expected release date for the results of Panel 05-09.
