Regarding re-appointment and concurrent Call to Active Duty program for officers, the website and packets state that you must have current security clearance to apply, yet it also states in the paperwork that if clearance is expired you must electronically reapply. Lack of current clearance isn't stated under ineligibility, yet...
So, what is the lowdown on being accepted with expired clearance?

The actual message that started the Army's RECALL TO ACTIVE DUTY program states that you must have a current security clearance OR documentation showing you have initiated a security clearance.  The Army is aware of the lengthy process of obtaining a clearance, so if you have successfully completed the NAC/DNACJ check you will be issued an interim clearance.
