Question
During my process of joining the USMC i was disqualified from meps for having an eye condition: kerataconous. The doctor told me there was no waiver recommended.  My recruiter told me that if I build a strong enough case maybe i can get waiver and possibly get it approved. My question is; Even after being disqualified from meps without a recommendation for a waiver has a waiver ever been given in the past? Is it even a possibility? i have received a lot of conflicting information. I was hoping for a closer to definitive answer. Hopefully a yes and not a "no. Thanks again

Answer
Rashamen,
Now I understand what you're saying.  I personally have not heard of a waiver being processed after the MEPS said no, so I checked with my friends at the Marine Corps Recruiting Command headquarters in Quantico, Virginia.  They also said, "No, it's not possible."
Sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear.
